Analytical methods for the extraction of solar-cell single- and double-diode model parameters from I-V characteristics

Analytical solutions for the rapid extraction of single- and double-diode model parameters from experimental data are described. The resulting parameters' values are shown to have less than 10 percent error for most solar cells. Error contours are also illustrated to define the range of validity of these methods.
