Physical Diagnosis: Bedside Evaluation of Diagnosis and Functionwas written on the premise that "the human interaction of diagnostician and subject, of healer and patient, must not be undermined by inadequate preparation of the early learner or incomplete maintenance of skills by the experienced clinician." Its goal is to present sequential teaching of interviewing and physical diagnosis skills for both fledgling and experienced clinicians.
