Abstract One-photon excitation of one of the two porphyrins within porphyrin-tetracyanoanthraquinodimethane-porphyrin triad with picosecond laser pulse leads to single reduction of the acceptor by intramolecular electron transfer, while an additional delayed excitation of the non-excited porphyrin results in double reduction of the acceptor.
