Her research spans from Anglo-American philosophy and literature to Science and Technology Studies and new materialist feminist thought. She received her PhD in philosophy from the Technical University of Darmstadt with a dissertation on empiricism and speculative thinking in William James and Alfred North Whitehead. Recent publications include: 'A Situated Metaphysics. Things, History and Pragmatic Speculation in A. N. Whitehead', The Allure of Things, eds.
