A circuit is described for producing a sequence of 10-12 kV. square wave pulses suitable for operating a small Kerr cell shutter. The width of the pulses (i.e. the shutter exposure) and the interval between them can be varied independently from each other. The number of exposures can likewise be altered, and provision is also made for single exposures.
K. D. Froome (1948) studied this question.
