Does acetyl strophanthidin reduce haemodynamic changes of left ventricular failure during acute coronary occlusion in pigs?
Acetyl strophanthidin attenuates the haemodynamic signs of left ventricular failure induced by transient coronary occlusion in a pig model.
Transient occlusion of the left anterior descending coronary artery in pigs produced haemodynamic changes of left ventricular failure. Administration of acetyl strophanthidin before a second occlusion led to less marked haemodynamic changes.
