In this note we shall prove. that precise equivalence holds between the energy gap i~ superconductor derived by Bardeen, Cooper and Schrieffer,l) and the selfconsistently -generated mass derived by Numbu and 10na-Lasiriio,2) only in case of four-fermion interaction.
