Augmented Reality (AR) Mobile Apps are a usefull technology for Cultural Heritage Communication. The interdisciplinary field between Computation, Interaction Design and Heritage Interpretation is allowing the development of innovative case studies. Through an online and offline observation we present a state of the art review of Augmented Reality Apps in Cultural Historical Heritage Communication placing AR as another tool in the broader context of Heritage Interpretation.
