The coupler knuckle is analyzed for modularized stress using ANSYS software in this paper. The maximum stress appears on the corner of coupler knuckle through internal solving system. Then the domestic and USA coupler knuckle materialspsila performance are compared by experiments with the system of GPL-200. The experiment results show that the domestic material has lower fatigue performance and lower degree of scatter than USA material. At last, load spectrum is produced by the method of Monte-Carlo. Furthermore, it is used in the fatigue life prediction for both domestic and USA coupler knuckle.
