The reaction of aryl (methoxy) diazirines with (η5-C5Me5) 2Rh2 (µ-CO) 2 yields (η5-C5Me5) 2Rh2 (CO) 2µ-C (OMe) Ar in near quantitative yield; the complex with Ar = 4-FC6H4 has been characterised by X-ray diffraction.
