Abstract

Abstract In this note we study, by simulation, small sample performance in terms of size of ten procedures for testing the homogeneity of odds ratios in K 2 × 2 contingency tables. These ten statistics are derived for ‘largestratum’ settings. Our study concerns the behaviour of these statistics for ‘small‐stratum’ settings.
