Linkages among Environmental Dimensions and Macro-Organizational Characteristics: A Causal Modeling Approach.

This paper presents a holistic approach to the study of complex systems of environment/organization relationships. An integrative, testable model, drawn from theoretical and empirical work in organization theory and business policy, is developed, tested and revised. Implications for current theory and future research are discussed.
