The following paper looks at technological equity from an international perspective. Utilising survey data of international municipal Web portals as well as existing United Nations data, this research evaluates existing divides throughout the world. We also note that there exists a relationship between the digital divide and other societal divides. Therefore, we conclude that the 'digital divide' should continue to fall within the discussion of social equity, given the continued dependence of government to provide service via the internet.
