The viscosities and densities of several mixtures of dimethyl sulphoxide and water have been measured at 25°, 45°, and 65 °C. Heats of mixing and refractive indices at 25 °C are also reported. The results indicate there is strong association of the two liquids which may be attributed to hydrogen bonding.
