A recently developed experimental integrated system for testing and debugging (STAD) is presented. Its testing part supports three data-flow coverage criteria. The debugging part guides the programmer in the localization of faults by generating and interactively verifying hypotheses about their location. An example is given to illustrate the process, followed by a debugging session, a discussion of the principles of data-flow testing, a structural testing scenario, and an introduction to the debugging principles in STAD.>
