Report on the Science of Systems Engineering Workshop

In mid-November, 2014, the National Science Foundation, with co-sponsorship from INCOSE and the Office of the Secretary of Defense’s Systems Engineering Research Center, brought together many of the thought leaders in Systems Engineering, plus other experts, to address the task of putting a solid theoretical foundation under the practice of systems engineering. This paper presents some quick results of that workshop.
