The technology of dynamic Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) has a broad application prospect in Electrical Vehicle (EV). Recently, the DD type has been proposed as the EV's charging magnetic coupler design, which already has been shown to have the best performance in the stationary charging. For dynamic wireless charging, the output power fluctuates when EV moves. This paper seeks to optimize the magnetic coupler to realize all the dynamic WPT system's demands. A crossed DD coil design is proposed to solve the "almost zero mutual inductance phenomenon" when EV moves from one primary coil to the next one in this paper. Besides, LCC resonant network is employed in both primary and secondary sides to ensure the constant current, and even to make a better output performance. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed magnetic coupler design.
