In this paper, we propose a green solution to improve performance of the energy efficiency in a fog computing environment and Internet of Everything (IoE) devices by exploiting the caching capabilities coupled to the Fog features. We exploit the Fog computing to manage distributed networking, computing and storage resources. The IoT devices, as a content requester with limited resources, will take advantage of emerging caching techniques to accomplish high quality services that requires a large amount of computing resources and a high throughput. To overcome the increasing number of IoT devices and the limited number of resources allocation in fog Computing, we propose a many-to-one matching game between the sets of devices and the set of fogs. To solve this game, we exploit the Gale-Shapley algorithm that enables the players to self-organize into a stable matching and a reasonable number of algorithm iterations. Simulation results has demonstrated that our proposed matching strategy coupled to caching capabilities on distributed Fog computing significantly outperforms the traditional caching strategies in terms of the cache hit ratio, average energy consumption and back-haul traffic load.
