Does preoperative loading dose ticagrelor reduce the occurrence of no-reflow phenomenon compared to clopidogrel in patients with STEMI undergoing primary PCI?
Preoperative loading dose ticagrelor is superior to clopidogrel in reducing no-reflow phenomenon and MACE during primary PCI for STEMI, without an increased bleeding risk.
Compared with clopidogrel, loading dose ticagrelor effectively reduced both the occurrence of NRF during PPCI and the incidence of major adverse cardiovascular event in patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction undergoing PPCI. Furthermore, it did not increase the risk of bleeding after PPCI.
