Abstract All Teams Should AIm to Develop a Human Development-Centered High-Performance Model for Sport (Hpms). A Model Can Unite a Team Toward a Shared Vision, Acting as a Clear Sign of Why the Performance Program Exists, and Why Athletes Should Trust Their Careers in Them. It Also Recognizes the Merits of an Analytical Approach to Establishing a Training System, Thereby Ensuring Objectivity and Best Practice. Finally, the Model Can Support and Promote a Holistic, Whole Person-Centered Approach, Where the Pursuit of Sporting Accolades Is Balanced Against the Health and Well-Being of Its Participants. The AIm of This Article Is to Assist the Reader in the Development of a Hpms.
