The results showed peptides possessing similar capacity of hydroxyl radical scavenging or ROS reduction may have significantly different in vitro antioxidative effects. Therefore, comprehensive consideration of different antioxidative mechanisms were suggested in selecting antioxidative peptides from DWMH.
