A series of novel derivatives of Tetrahydrobenzothienopyrimidine hydrazone were synthesized and product structure was elucidated by 1NMR, C13NMR and mass spectroscopy. The synthesized compounds were evaluated against fungal and bacterial strains. The synthesized compounds showed significant antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus MTCC 96, Staphylococcus pyrogenes MTCC 442, and Escherichia coli MTCC 443, Pseudomonas aeruginosa MTCC 1688 and against fungal strains Candida albicans MTCC 227, Aspergillus niger MTCC 282, Aspergillus clavatus MTCC 1323
