A Short Review of Age and Gender Recognition Based on Speech

In the speech research area, with the continuous advancement of intelligence, the speaker's age and gender recognition of have been widely used in security, e-commerce and many other fields. Meanwhile, the speaker's age and gender have a certain influence on the speaker recognition, emotion recognition and the speaker's intention recognition. This paper investigates the feature extraction, model selection, and corpus usage, summarizes the current main research results, and points out the key issues and prospects of the research.
