Technology Literacy and Student Practice: Lecturing Critical Evaluation Skills

To conduct assignments and research projects effectively, students need to be taught the skills to maximally operate Microsoft Office tools and use the Reference Manager application to properly manage reference sources. This research aims at guiding students to be able to think critically and in evaluative manner towards their skills in using technological tools to support their academic tasks. The design of the research is action research through collaborative team work carried out through seven critical stages to evaluate students' technology literacy. The results of the action research showed that students were able to evaluate their skills in technology literacy, thus encouraging them to improve their skills to complete academic tasks, especially research projects.
