The study demonstrates high diagnostic accuracy of Ga-DOTANOC PET/CT and superiority over I MIBG SPECT/CT for evaluation of extra-adrenal paraganglioma. The current diagnostic role of I-131 MIBG seems limited to abdominal paragangliomas and for theranostic purpose.
