Synergistic Effects of Aluminum Diethylphosphinate and Melamine on Improving the Flame Retardancy of Phenolic Resin

. Compared with pure phenolic resin, the heat release rate and total heat release of modified phenolic resin decreased significantly. This suggests that aluminum diethylphosphinate and melamine play a nitrogen-phosphorus synergistic effect in the phenolic resin, which improves the thermal stability and flame retardancy of the phenolic resin.
