Physiotherapists’ perceptions of collaborations with inter-professional team members in an ICU setting

Physiotherapists are essential and strategically placed in the ICU to reduce length of stay, and prevent patient physical function decline post ICU admission. This work explored physiotherapists' perceptions of collaboration within inter-professional teams in the ICU and identified barriers that impede communication in inter-professional teams and suggested solutions. This research will contribute in improving collaboration between inter-professional teams in the ICU setting.
