At the same time, the development of digital media art has greatly promoted artistic creation, and has also made great changes to visual communication design, which requires relevant designers to innovate and develop visual communication design reasonably in the context of digital media art, so as to improve its design effect. This paper analyzes the innovation and development of visual communication design in the context of digital media art, introduces the background and current situation of the development of digital media art in China, discusses the characteristics of visual communication design in the digital media era, and puts forward specific innovative countermeasures and development strategies, hoping to provide some reference for relevant staff.
