The term “geometallurgy” has been re-introduced to describe a geology-metallurgy data stream. Geometallurgy has been variably defıned and it has become a predominantly metallurgical term of late. This is because metallurgists, acknowledging that rock and mineral relationships are important to process flowsheets, now incorporate inspection of drill core into a geomet-determined predictive metallurgy model.
