The internal 0(4) symmetry group of the nonrelativistic hydrogen atom is discussed and used to relate the various approaches to the bound-state problems. A more general group 0(1,4) of transformations is shown to connect the various levels, which appear as basis vectors for a continuous set of unitary representations of this noncompact group.
