existing approaches and concepts in Memory Studies. Research within Literary Memory Studies often draws on theories of other disciplines. The articles in this volume are no exception: for instance, Ana de Almeida and Christian Wimplinger show how desire for revolutions from the past affects narration, using Bini Adamczak's term desire, which in turn builds on Freud's psychoanalytical research on fetishism (cf. Adamczak 2017).
