The article examines the role of innovative and investment development of agricultural enterprises in modern conditions of globalization and integration of Ukraine into the world economic space. Systematized internal and external threats to innovation and investment development of agricultural enterprises. It is proven that the innovative activity of the enterprise depends on its innovative potential. The components of the innovative potential of the enterprise are determined. Factors influencing the activation of innovative and investment development of agriculture are analyzed. It is substantiated that a necessary condition for the implementation of effective innovative activity is the ability to manage innovative risks. Approaches to defining the essence of risk management are summarized. The main advantages of the implementation and effective functioning of the risk management system at agricultural enterprises have been established. The priority tools for reducing the level of risks at the agricultural enterprise have been determined.
