The authors present the main statistical indicators of domestic book publishing in 2025. 13 tables with comments give a clear picture of the number of titles of books and brochures, their print runs and languages, themes, types and kinds of publications, the main publishers, printing houses and the most popular authors in the field of fiction for adults and children. Special attention is paid to the problem of legislative support of the domestic book industry dealing with the languages of the peoples of the Russian Federation. The changes in the two main statistical indicators of 2025 compared to 2024 was the decreasing 2,81 per cent in the number of titles of books and brochures and the increasing 0,81 per cent in their total circulation.
