Food and nutrition is essential for all living beings to survive and perform vital activities like growth, development, and renewal of damaged cells. It is important to consider various factors that can affect the safety and quality of perishable foods, such as light, O2 levels, temperature, humidity, spoilage bacteria, and other environmental conditions. When stored at room temperature, food may undergo chemical reactions that affect its taste, texture, and aroma. Consuming spoiled food can result in foodborne illnesses, which can be dangerous. This research study presents an efficient solution by utilizing IoT technology to manage food storage. The proposed system is designed to address the challenges associated with monitoring the quality of stored food. The proposed solution combines various IoT devices, cloud services, and web applications. Computer vision technology offers a non-intrusive, automated, and cost-effective approach to evaluate food quality. This innovative solution can accurately assess the quality of food products without damaging them, allowing for a more efficient eval uation process. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed system is effective in detecting food quality and promptly alerting users about any degradation in food quality.
