Neuromorphic computing utilizes memristors to mimic biological neurons and processes data in brain-like way. Given the intrinsic benefits of non-volatile high-density memory, bio-compatibility, and energy efficiency of memristors, neuro-morphic computing has opened many opportunities for various fields of data science. In this paper, we conduct a brief survey of neuromorphic computing through the lens of data storage, data processing, artificial intelligence, and data security and privacy.
