Does survival and tricuspid regurgitation reduction after Tricuspid Transcatheter Edge-to-Edge Repair (T-TEER) differ between patients with atrial versus ventricular secondary tricuspid regurgitation?
Patients with atrial secondary tricuspid regurgitation (ASTR) or ventricular secondary tricuspid regurgitation (VSTR) enrolled in the TriValve Registry
Tricuspid Transcatheter Edge-to-Edge Repair (T-TEER) in patients with atrial secondary tricuspid regurgitation (ASTR)
Tricuspid Transcatheter Edge-to-Edge Repair (T-TEER) in patients with ventricular secondary tricuspid regurgitation (VSTR)
Tricuspid regurgitation (TR) grade reduction and survival at 12-month follow-uphard clinical
In patients undergoing transcatheter edge-to-edge repair for secondary tricuspid regurgitation, an atrial etiology is associated with better 12-month survival compared to a ventricular etiology.
In a real-world, multicentre registry, T-TEER was effective in reducing TR grade in both ASTR and VSTR. At 12-month follow-up, ASTR showed better survival than VSTR.
