Cancer, diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular disease, neurodegenerative illness, inflammatory disease, and many other pathologies have a common denominator: oxidative stress. The both extract showed occurrence of glycosides, phenolic compounds, alkaloids, flavonoids also tannin and aqueous and ethanol extract of stem and leaves showed good antioxidant properties by DPPH assay.
