The object of investigation of this study are the perceptions of Mathematics teachers who work at Escola do Campo in Vitória da Conquista-BA about collaborative work in teaching and learning processes. We aimed to analyze the perceptions of teachers at Escola do Campo about collaborative work, based on their professional training (initial and continuing) and experiences in the school environment. As a documentary set, we used the data collected from the application of a questionnaire on the profile of the participants and the interviews, collected through a semi-structured script, whose information was transcribed and interpreted in light of the content analysis method. We observed that collaborative work is absent in the pedagogical practices of employees, due to several factors, among which we highlight the absence of discussion on the topic during the training stages.
