Employing a mixed-methods research design, this study analyses the current state of employee engagement practices in various IT companies in Chennai. Through the collection of primary data via surveys and interviews with employees and management personnel, the study aims to understand the key factors that contribute to effective employee engagement within the IT sector. Furthermore, it investigates the extent to which these practices align with the existing labor laws and regulations in Chennai. The research also delves into the challenges faced by IT companies in implementing employee engagement strategies while adhering to labor laws.
