For nearly a century, the IEEE Awards program has paid tribute to technical professionals whose exceptional achievements and outstanding contributions have made a lasting impact on engineering, science, and technology. This tradition of public recognition continues today. In keeping with this tradition, IEEE Power Electronics Society (PELS) Awards Chair Andreas Lindemann of Universitaet Magdeburg, Germany announced the winners of IEEE PELS Awards, who were honored at a luncheon on 2 November at ECCE 2023 in Nashville, TN, USA. The ceremony was conducted by the awards chairs Fang Luo and Mahima Gupta and master of ceremonies Emmanuel Agamloh.
