Dural arteriovenous fistula involving superior petrosal sinus with petrosal venous drainage in association with cerebral venous thrombosis: Literature review and illustrative case

Dural arteriovenous fistulas (DAVFs) involving superior petrosal sinus (SPS) and superior petrosal vein (SPV) are extremely rare. The pathogenesis of these fistulas remains unclear. We are illustrating 2 cases of DAVFs involving the superior petrosal sinus and veins associated with venous sinus thrombosis with a literature review.
