.The type of research is qualitative descriptive research. Data obtained from observations and interviews. The result of the research is to equip each class with a reading corner. Create a more interesting reading corner equipped with various varied reading sources. A work program that provides rewards to students to motivate them to be interested in reading and optimize their reading movements 15 minutes before learning activities. The internal supporting factor for students is that students at SD Muhammdiyah 1 Babat are able to read. The external factor is that there is a reading corner at school, although it is not optimal. The inhibiting factors are inadequate reading corner facilities and a poor collection of books, both fiction and non-fiction, as well as the arrangement of the reading corner space being less attractive, so it is necessary to provide books that are interesting and tailored to children's abilities and interests.
