The clinical application and mechanism of moxibustion in the treatment of breast diseases in the past 20 years were reviewed and summarized.Results It was found that the mechanism of moxibustion in treating breast diseases mainly includes local anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects and regulation of hormone levels.The clinical effects included pain reduction and improvement of mass size.Promote blood circulation, improve metabolism; Improve immune function and quality of life.Its mechanism of action is still not perfect, and there are some theoretical differences with clinical application.Therefore, the application of moxibustion in breast diseases needs further research to provide guidance for clinical workers to treat breast diseases.
