Purpose:The rationale of this study is to investigate causes that contribute to divorce amongst young couples in the Kerala Christian community.This study examines the grounds of marital conflicts in divorced young couples from different Christian denominations in Kerala.The study used qualitative approach and conducted interviews and recognition group discussions to acquire the primary statistics, and the study accompanied the lane of descriptive studies.The findings of the study were that conflicts in the marital were caused by natural problems as well as man-generated problems such as sudden character change, and deprived communication; financial issues, ill-treatment from the family members, and infidelity were related to divorce among young Christian couples.If these problems arise in the marital life, they deteriorate the marriage union.If these troubles arise in the marital life, they deteriorate the marriage union.Therefore, the study suggested that couples must without delay respond helpfully to early warning signs of conflicts in the marital life before they build up into awful signals of separation. Design/Methodology/Approach:The study used the descriptive survey design which integrates the case study approach.By conducting interviews and focus group discussions, the study followed the path of descriptive study.Primary and various secondary data have been referred to; along with Google Scholar to collect data. Result and Outcome of the Study:The study describes the reasons for Divorce amongst Christian Young Couples in Kerala.The current study made known that adjustment problems within the extended family members, alcoholism and resulting physical and mental abuse were the primary causes of divorce among Christian Young couples in Kerala.Inside the Christian community, more females have been discovered to be initiating proceedings for divorce than males in the Christian community.Originality/Value: This paper presents the causes of divorce among young Christian couples by exploring the actual -lifestyles of the divorced.An earnest attempt has been made with the basis of relevant sources to suit the factors leading to divorce amongst young Christian couples in Kerala.
