This paper aims to analyze the syntactic and semantic characteristics of the 'X+Si' predicative complement structure and draw a tree diagram of it based on Constructure Grammar and Constuctinalization Theory. As a result, the meaning of the constructure can be classified into three categories: resul tmeaning 'X+Si₁', state meaning 'X+Si₂' and degree meaning 'X+Si₃'. The result and state meaning represent the mapping in metonymy and metaphor while the degree meaning resulted from pragmatic inference. Thus, the meaning extension network contains two paths including the meaning extending from result meaning 'X+Si₁' to state meaning 'X+Si₂' and the meaning extending from result meaning 'X+Si₁' to degree meaning 'X+Si₃'.
