This paper presents an eighth mode substrate integrated waveguide (EMSIW) based eight-channel self-multiplexing antenna for sub-6 GHz wireless applications, for the first time. Asymmetric slots are etched on the EMSIW cavities to make the antenna radiate at eight different frequencies. The antenna has independent frequency tuning capability, high isolation (30-46 dB), acceptable peak realized gains (4.07-5.11 dBi) and good front-to-back radiation ratio (20 dB).
