With the emergence of the 4th Industrial Revolution, we have witnessed the great development of technology. Several sectors including education, medicine, industry, and IT are in the phase of transition. Machine translation is considered to be one of the innovative sectors which has been used by learners greatly in the recent years. Considering its popularity, it is necessary to explore EFL learners' perspectives toward machine translation. According to the study, EFL learners reported to use it frequently whenever they encounter difficulties in reading and writing. However, a majority of the students were cautious to use it. They said depending on machine translation can prohibit their building up reading and writing proficiency. They also suggested that language teachers should offer instructions on how to use machine translation effectively in learning foreign/second languages. Learners' post-editing strategy as Van et al. (2012) had suggested was also recommended by the participants. (Hannam University)
