Abstract

In Paper 7.1, Marvell presents a complete DSP-based PAM-4 transceiver at 212Gb/s for optical direct-detect application.The transmitter features a 4-way time interleaved DAC followed by a linear driver, and the receiver consists of a wideband AFE followed by 128-way time-interleaved ADC.Including per-lane PLL, the transceiver achieves 2.69pJ/b analog power efficiency.
