This paper presents the utilization of Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces (RIS) to generate adjustable nulls. The inspiration for this approach arises from the shifting nulls in the radiation pattern of a dipole placed in front of a rectangular patch, which occurs as the patch is laterally moved. The RIS is harnessed to emulate this displacement, accomplished by strategically biasing specific diodes to achieve reconfigurability.
