The article reveals the theoretical prerequisites for strengthening the integration of the content and the process of training future law enforcement officers. It has been established that the law enforcement activity of future law enforcement officers is a complex and multifaceted mechanism that is carried out on the basis of the law, in appropriate forms and on democratic principles and is designed to ensure legality and law and order, protect the rights and interests of citizens, labor groups, society and the state, warn and stop offenses, apply state coercion or social influence to persons who violated law and order. Its basis is revealed - ensuring legality, protection of human rights and freedoms. The necessity of using integrative processes in the training of future specialists of law enforcement agencies has been established. The signs and specific features of the integration of professional knowledge are disclosed. The need for the use of psychological and pedagogical knowledge in the process of training future specialists of law enforcement agencies has been established. It was established that the basis of the integration of psychological-pedagogical, legal and professional knowledge is determined by the general target settings, means, methods of professional activity, the complex nature of tasks that are solved in practical work. It has been proven that the construction of the training of the future specialist of law enforcement agencies based on the integration of psychological-pedagogical, legal and professional knowledge allows to reveal the logical structure of their components, to show their development, to ensure that cadets master the functions, actions, and operations of psychological-pedagogical interaction in the process of studying legal and professional disciplines. It is summarized that the professional activity of the future specialist of law enforcement agencies consists of performing functions that require him to have complex interdisciplinary knowledge and skills. Complex knowledge and skills do not mean a simple set, since most complex skills are integrated interdisciplinary skills that require knowledge of various educational disciplines, which cannot be formed in the process of separate study of individual courses.
